Dr. Mario Chiasson is a distinguished figure world-renowned for his insightful contributions to learning innovation. With over 25 years of dedicated experience in the education sector, Mario currently holds the position of Director of Research, Innovation & Change Management at District scolaire francophone Sud. Simultaneously, he serves as an associate researcher at the Université de Moncton in New Brunswick, Canada. In his capacity as the Chief Research Investigator, Mario leads a groundbreaking longitudinal research project, "Intr'Appreneur: Tomorrow's Education Today." Throughout his illustrious career, Mario has been instrumental in guiding numerous organizations and institutions, including schools, districts, ministries, colleges, universities, businesses, associations, and communities. His expertise lies in navigating through disruptive change, fostering innovation capabilities, and driving continuous improvement. Mario's impact extends beyond theoretical frameworks, as he actively engages in leadership and system transformation. Notably, he has played a pivotal role in designing physical, digital, and spatial spaces/buildings that influence the learning and teaching process, aligning skills development with the demands of an innovative society. In 2004, Mario was the first Microsoft innovative Teacher in Canada. In 2010, an Apple Distinguished Educator. He is a certified CISCO Teacher and Google Teacher. In 2022, Dr. Chiasson was recognized with the “Outstanding Leadership Award” in Dubai for his innovative and outstanding work.
